Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with a NH or compact license for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring fetal monitoring and strong OB experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
- 8-bed unit with 1:1 ratio for patients in active labor and 1:2-3 for mother-baby care
- Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3x12hr per week
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
- No on-call responsibilities
- Provide nursing care throughout the entire birthing process, including individualized attention and support
- Unit offers a range of birthing options with 24-hour anesthesia support
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Personal transportation is required
- Must include all requested time off (RTO) at time of application, with a maximum of 5 days
- First time travelers are not preferred

- Active NH or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery or OB nursing experience required
- Fetal monitoring experience required
- BLS (AHA), AWHONN, and NRP certifications must be current and provided at time of consideration
- Labor & Delivery skills checklist completed within the past year required
- At least one supervisory signed reference from the past year required
- BSN and S.T.A.B.L.E. certification highly preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
