Job Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for operating automated engraving machines and adjusting software to personalize badges, nameplates, medals, and other custom metal products. This role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to interpret customer specifications to ensure high-quality, custom-engraved products that meet company standards.

Responsibilities:

Operate computer-aided engraving machines (e.g., CNC, laser, pantograph).
Interpret customer orders, work tickets, and design files to engrave products accurately.
Set up jobs using engraving software and fixtures; verify fonts, spellings, layouts, and positioning.
Inspect finished engraved items for accuracy, clarity, and finish quality.
Coordinate with customer service and production teams on special orders and deadlines.
Maintain accurate records of completed work and job documentation.
Assist with layout and design changes as needed based on customer or supervisor input.
Ensure engraved products meet quality control standards and company guidelines.
