Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available in Brockton, MA, offering a contract-to-hire position within a closed-door long-term care facility. This role supports timely medication preparation and distribution in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality service to residents.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing medications in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose formats
- Assisting with medication ordering, receiving, and stocking while monitoring storage conditions and expiration dates
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient and medication records
- Supporting daily pharmacy operations to meet a volume of approximately 600 prescriptions per day
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
- Rotating weekends required
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active and clear Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred
- Proven experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a high-volume setting
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
- Willingness to work with Frameworks software (training provided)
This assignment is 13+ weeks with the possibility to convert to a permanent role. Start date is ASAP.
