Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available at an elementary school in Lowell, MA. This contract position spans the current school year and requires dedication for two days each week. The role is ideal for professionals skilled in delivering speech and language services within a school setting, supporting the developmental and communication needs of young students.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged children
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Providing direct therapy services and progress monitoring
  • Participating in team meetings and maintaining accurate documentation of student progress
  • Supporting students in achieving their communication goals to enhance their educational experience

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification, preferably with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Previous experience working in schools with elementary-aged children
  • Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel
  • Commitment to collaborative problem solving and student-centered therapy
