Job Description

Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician (6 Month Contract)

Location: North Reading, MA

About the Role:

We're seeking a contract Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Hardware Test Engineering team, focusing on our next-generation robotic system. You'll collaborate with hardware development, program management, and other test engineers, using your electrical and problem-solving skills to improve test execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with engineering teams on testing tools and methods.
Maintain and troubleshoot existing test fixtures (electrical and control issues).
Develop test subsystems and documentation.
Execute tests and collect data.

Qualifications:

Understand electrical schematics.
Ability to fabricate fixturing and perform board rework/soldering.
Experience with cable assembly.
BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
0-2 years hardware testing experience.
Familiarity with standard electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, data acquisition, multi-meters, signal generators).
Ability to follow test procedures, document results, and troubleshoot electronic devices.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Linux/Unix and basic scripting skills are a plus.
