Purpose: This leadership role oversees both the In-Home Therapy (IHT) and Therapeutic Mentoring (TM) departments. The CBHI Manager provides clinical and administrative oversight to ensure high-quality service delivery to youth and families.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations and strategic direction of CBHI programs, including IHT and TM services.
- Develop and implement systems that align with performance specifications, medical necessity, and agency goals. This includes regular team meetings, clinical consultations, and program-specific training.
- Collaborate with intake, HR, billing departments to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
- Ensure quality service delivery and that quality assurance practices are implemented.
- Act as a liaison with funders, referral sources, and community partners.
- Participates in the hiring process and onboarding planning.
- Provide support in crisis situations or high-risk scenarios, as needed.
- Monitor program metrics such as productivity, deadlines, referrals, etc and develop a plan for improvement, as needed.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in children’s behavioral health. Ensure agency participation at regional system of care meetings.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, mentor, and supervise direct reports
- Meet on a regular basis to provide support and answer questions
- Review and approve timesheets on a bi-weekly basis
- Provides direct reports with constant feedback (i.e Paylocity Journal Notes, Performance Evaluations, Disciplinary Action Plans as needed)

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a human services field.
- Licensure: LICSW (preferred), LMHC, LMFT, LADC-1
- MA CANS certification (or eligible by start date).
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory/management experience in the mental health field.
- Extensive knowledge of child & family serving systems, services, and community resources in the identified catchment area.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Google Workspace.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel.
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with youth and families.
- Experience in trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.
- Bilingual capabilities
- Familiarity with CBHI regulations and Massachusetts Medicaid guidelines
