This contract nursing opportunity invites experienced Registered Nurses to provide quality care in a medical-surgical telemetry unit located in Concord, NH. The unit specializes in moderate acuity patients, including vascular and bariatric cases, and utilizes advanced equipment such as Alaris Pumps, bladder scanners, and Atrium chest tube drainage systems. Nurses will work as part of a skilled team to maintain exceptional patient care standards in a supportive environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
- Experience with telemetry monitoring essential
- Preferred: cardiac and bariatric patient care knowledge
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong work ethic and adaptability to dynamic clinical settings
Schedule and Location:
- Contract position based in Concord, NH
- Every other weekend shift rotation, including day and night shifts
- No assigned scrub color; professional attire expected
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and care for med-surg telemetry patients with varied acuity
- Utilize specialized equipment including vein finders and Dinamaps
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate documentation within the Sunrise EMR system
- Adhere to unit policies and protocols for infection control and patient care
