Adecco Staffing is assisting a manufacturing facility in their search for a CNC Manufacturing Engineer. This is a Direct Hire Opportunity!
Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer – CNC Machining
Schedule: 1st Shift
Pay: $85,000-$115,000 per year
Position Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer supports CNC machining operations by improving efficiency, ensuring product quality, and optimizing manufacturing processes. This role works cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet performance, cost, and delivery objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Review product designs for manufacturability, tolerances, quality standards, and cost drivers

Determine and design/procure required fixtures and gages

Prepare setup sheets, manufacturing documentation, and shop-floor instructions

Program CNC machines; troubleshoot start-up issues and optimize cycle times, feeds, and speeds

Provide hands-on shop-floor support for lathes, mills, and mill/turn equipment

Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for machining and quality issues

Collaborate with engineering, quality, supervisors, and operators to improve productivity

Assist in operator training on procedures and best practices
Qualifications
-
AS degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience)

5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience supporting CNC machining
-
Strong CNC milling and turning experience (mill/turn a plus)

CAD/CAM proficiency and understanding of drawing/dimensioning standards

Working knowledge of machining practices, workholding, inspection, and shop math

Experience with MRP/ERP systems preferred

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Combination of office and manufacturing floor environment

Frequent standing, bending, and movement on the shop floor

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Visual acuity and manual dexterity for precision machining tasks
