As Test and Commissioning Engineer you will be responsible for;

  • Responsibilities;

    • Support train testing of all electrical/electronic/mechanical systems
    • Troubleshoot and correct problems as required
    • Develop Test Procedures and Reports for all Systems based on engineering documentation, customer specifications
    • Test, troubleshoot and correct wiring issues
    • Work experience on Electrical tools like Track Sniffer, Scope meter, Shunting, multimeter
    • Knowledgeable on Computer and Network systems: Windows, WireShark, SSH, telnet.
    • Experience in working on field environments, train control rooms or bungalows, wayside tracks.
    • Experience in executing tests on switch machines, track circuits (PF and AF), signals, microprocessors (VPI, Microlok and/or Electrologix)

    Qualifications;

    • Bachelors degree in engineering or related field
    • Signaling or Telecom background,
    • Ability to read and understand electrical cabling drawings and diagrams,
    • Familiar with LANs, WANs, network routers, firewall and TCP-IP technologies,
    • Knowledge in industrial communication protocols,
    • Experience with configuring and troubleshooting wired and wireless network equipment,
    • Experience with common network troubleshooting tools (like Wireshark),
    • Experience with SCADA systems and components (servers, RTU, PLC),
    • Knowledge in Cybersecurity is a plus
    • Experience in railway is a plus.

    Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000

    The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
