Position Overview: Assists in the oversight and development of the Clinical Department and Service Delivery including hiring, supervision, and evaluation. Regularly reviews program services, in order to meet client needs. With the Clinical Director, assists, develops, plans, and implements strategies for program continuation and growth. Provides clinical training to staff and interns as necessary.
Education: MA Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field
Experience: 2-5 years in a clinical management role, leading people and managing processes preferred
Licensure/Certification: Current State Licensure: LICSW, LMHC, Lic. PhD required. Current CPR certification
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Assists in the planning and evaluation of clinical programs and services, including plans to increase the range, quality, and quantity of services at CRR.
2. Supervises and works directly with staff to develop and monitor clinical quality assurance procedures to ensure a scientific basis is used in determining which clinical activities to implement and continue.
3. Trouble-shoot clinically-related problems and roll out clinical initiatives that will improve clinical quality to programs in the field.
4. Implement procedures to permit regular, timely collection and utilization of feedback from both staff and patients in the implementation and modification of clinical practices.
5. Hires, trains and retains top talent and participates in the performance management process.
6. Engages in ongoing assessment of the clinical competence of clinical team members, through various methods, including but not limited to direct supervision and observation and utilizes this information to provide training and development, as is necessary.
7. Leads and engages staff by articulating a vision that inspires others and is able to attract, develop and retain talent.
8. Uphold personal and professional ethics and values, taking into account the values of the organization and respecting the culture, belief and abilities of individuals.
9. Must be able to work in collaboration with other health professionals and leaders from other disciplines.
10. Responsible for chart auditing as it relates to direct supervisees.
11. Complete supervision and group supervision as necessary.
12. All other duties as assigned.
