Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time, in-person Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Assistant opportunity is available at an Early Childhood School serving PreK through 2nd grade. This position offers valuable experience working with young learners on an elementary caseload, providing direct speech and language services in a supportive environment. The contract runs from mid-January through the end of the school year, covering a leave period.

Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy in-person, collaborating with other speech-language pathologists in the building, and supporting early childhood students with communication goals. This role emphasizes hands-on, in-person intervention, crucial for the developmental needs of young children.

Key qualifications and desired experience:

  • Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or as a Speech Assistant
  • Experience with early childhood and elementary-aged students (PreK2nd grade)
  • Ability to provide engaging in-person therapy sessions
  • Strong observational skills to benefit from an early onboarding phase
  • Collaborative attitude to work alongside other speech-language pathologists

Location:

  • Elementary school setting in Meredith, NH, with services provided onsite

This role is ideal for professionals seeking a contract position with a mid-school year start and an opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners' communication skills. Early onboarding will ensure a smooth transition and ample observation time before taking on a full caseload.

Interested candidates are encouraged to apply to take part in a fulfilling role supporting early childhood communication development.
