Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students in a K-12 educational setting located in Somersworth, NH. This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, providing services four days per week in a high school Life Skills program and one day per week in an elementary school.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students with a variety of communication disorders across the K-12 spectrum
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of communication goals within the educational setting
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in schools, preferably serving pediatrics and students with special needs
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for entry-level candidates
- Strong skills in pediatric speech and language therapy, including experience within healthcare environments as relevant
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations in both elementary and secondary school settings
