Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Behavioral Specialist opportunity is available for a full-semester contract in a K-12 public school setting, serving students in grades 4 through 6. This role supports students within a special education population and requires expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credentialing. The position starts immediately and continues through June 17, 2026, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral support and intervention services to students in grades 4-6
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement behavior plans
- Monitor and document student progress
- Adapt and adjust plans as needed to meet student and classroom needs
- Maintain compliance with district regulations including fingerprinting and onboarding processes
Qualifications:
- Must hold current ABA certification or be an RBT candidate
- Experience working in school settings with special education populations
- At least one completed professional reference demonstrating relevant experience
- Ability to be flexible with classroom arrangements and schedules
- Reliable transportation to and from the school site
- Successful completion of district fingerprinting and background checks
- Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview process
