Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a contract role serving a middle school setting. This part-time opportunity focuses on delivering direct speech therapy services to students in grades 2 through 6.
Location: Manchester, NH (serving the Goffstown, NH area)
Work Schedule:
- 3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Hours: 7:30 AM to 2:45 PM
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to approximately 25 students across grades 2-6
- Collaborate with other speech pathologists; testing responsibilities are managed by a separate clinician
- Support students while the current part-time SLP is on leave
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with pediatric and middle school-aged children
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply
- Ability to provide direct services consistent with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy techniques for pediatric speech and language disorders
This contract is expected to last until early February, with the potential for extension depending on the returning clinicians status.
