Position Summary

The Extract, Transform, Load Developer/Report Writer, while reporting to the Global Controller, is responsible for designing and implementing data analysis and reporting solutions to meet the data and reporting needs of the Company’s global businesses. The successful candidate will work with users, project team members, and/or senior managers to assess organizational reporting and analysis needs, implementing automated reports and tools to improve informational analysis and enhance the speed and accuracy of critical and impactful decision-making across various functions of the Company. www.kovalus.com

Responsibilities:

• Optimize existing Access and Power BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability.
• Designs, develops, and supports high-quality dashboard visualizations which provide a consistent user experience and highlight key data elements determined by stakeholders.
• Designs, develops and supports artificial intelligence (AI) reporting between Professional Services tools and enterprise platforms, ensuring consistency and reliability.
• Take part in the iterative process of designing, developing, refining, and testing dashboards and reports.
• Work with stakeholders to identify data needs, develop data models, and build and maintain reporting systems.
• Responsible for ensuring that data is accurate, timely, and accessible to support business decisions and improve outcomes.
• Offer best practices in distributing content via PowerBI and other reporting tools.
• Interpret the business needs of the key stakeholders and develop actionable and accessible dashboards and reports, leveraging data visualization tools e.g. PowerBI
• Retrieve, organize, and manipulate data from the MS SQL Server and Oracle databases. This will require programming (SQL, SSIS, PBIRS, SRS, or similar) to prepare data for reporting and analysis.
• Responsible for completing thorough quality assurance procedures ensuring accuracy, reliability, validity, and security across all reporting platforms.
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations; establish and maintain effective customer relationships.

• Develop and implement system enhancements, including declarative configurations, AI automation, and custom development when needed.
• Assessing hardware and software needs and providing recommendations for improvements.
• Recommending best IT practices.
• Providing training and support for users.

• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI and other visualization tools required
• Visual Basics required
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, SSIS, PBIRS, and SSRS required.

• Must be able sit for longer periods of time as well as move about throughout the office as needed.
