Job SummaryThe Industrial Painter I is responsible for painting parts and units and ensuring the correct loading of products onto the paint conveyor line. This role supports manufacturing operations by maintaining proper part flow, sequence, and paint quality to meet production and customer specifications. The position also involves operating painting equipment, preparing parts for coating, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

1. Paint components and complete units following established paint procedures and quality guidelines.
2. Guide and perform the loading of products onto the paint conveyor.
3. Hang parts and kits on the paint line in the proper sequence based on planning and scheduling instructions.
4. Operate lifts, burn-off ovens, and other related equipment as needed.
5. Set up, operate, and maintain automatic powder booths and other painting equipment.
6. Shut down and clean paint line equipment according to safety and maintenance procedures.
7. Inspect painted parts to ensure compliance with Worcester Plant Quality Standards.
8. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company safety policies.

Required Qualifications

1. Ability to follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
2. Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.
3. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate paint line equipment.
4. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
5. Physically able to lift, hang, and maneuver heavy parts on and off the paint line.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Prior industrial painting experience.
2. Familiarity with powder coating processes and automated paint booth systems.
3. Forklift or lift operation experience.
