Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position in Massachusetts requiring EPIC experience and an active MA RN license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
- Care for laboring and postpartum patients and newborns
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00pm-7:00am, three shifts per week
- No block scheduling allowed
- No on-call responsibilities
- Every other major holiday shift required
- Uses Epic EMR; experience preferred
- Must be willing to accept a local pay rate if residing within a 50-mile radius
- Maximum of 5 days RTO may be requested
- Bi-weekly orientation provided
- Scrub uniforms may be any color
- No first-time travelers accepted for this position
- Must work every other major holiday as assigned
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active MA RN license verified through NURSYS, including all past and present licenses
- Minimum 2 years recent L&D experience in an acute care setting
- Travel RN experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- 2 recent charge RN, manager, or supervisor references from L&D within the past 1-2 years
- Flu vaccine required during season
- Must provide skills checklist matching specialty
- Driver's license with matching address required
- Epic EMR experience required for most units
- RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
