Taylor Community, located in Laconia, Meredith and Wolfeboro is responsible for providing top quality care for our residents. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Unit Manager to lead and manage the daily operations of our Assited Living Unit in Laconia. This ideal candidate will provide clinical leadership, foster a culture of excellence, and ensure high-quality patient care while supporting and guiding nursing staff.
The Unit Manager (UM) is a Nurse who is responsible for assisting the Director of Health Services (DHS) with supervision and some administrative functions of the clinical units, assisted livings and nursing. The UM must possess both strong clinical skills and the ability to communicate to Physicians, Residents, Family Members and Staff. The UM must be highly motivated and able to function independently within the job responsibilities. The UM will make sound decisions and delegate/empower others to carry forth directives while supporting the Mission of the Taylor Community. Quality Resident Care and advocacy for Resident needs are essential. Flexibility and promotion of the team concept are essential. The UM is responsible for delegating and supervising the work of other nurses and aids.
