Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position involves providing occupational therapy services within a K-12 school setting located in Dover, NH. The role is full-time for the current school year, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year. Candidates will deliver therapy services 3.5 days in a preschool setting and 1.5 days in a high school, totaling 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, develop, and implement occupational therapy intervention plans for students in preschool and high school.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Provide training and support to teachers and parents as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Experience working in school settings is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children across a range of developmental stages.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of K-12 educational environments and therapy requirements.
