As a Maintenance Technician, expect a dynamic environment where your efforts directly support the scientific community in developing transformative health solutions. You lead the charge in maintaining vital facility systems like HVAC, responding to alarms, and improving systems continuously.

With a knack for troubleshooting and a commitment to safety, your hands-on work extends to testing vital systems and keeping meticulous records. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, your position based in Westborough, MA, requires adaptability, as you'll occasionally handle on-call and weekend tasks as business needs fluctuate.

What Sets You Apart:

  • 1–3 years of pertinent experience in regulated environments like medical or pharmaceutical industries, plus technical certification.
  • Proficiency with Building Management Systems in controlled environs.
  • Collaborative prowess, engaging with colleagues across the organizational spectrum.

Your Core Tasks:

  • Monitor plant utilities and BMS, making sure all operations meet Cytiva's robust standards.
  • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of manufacturing and building systems diligently.
  • Address system failures, including electrical mishaps, ensuring minimal disruption.

Additional Skills That Elevate You:

  • Preferably certified in facilities maintenance or similar trades.
  • Holding state licenses in trades such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC is advantageous.
  • Grade 2 Wastewater Operator experience is valued.

You exhibit strengths in:

  • HVAC and additional system troubleshooting

  • Hands-on experience with electrical systems diagnostics and repair
