We're looking for assemblers who are able to work either the first or second shift during the week, or the weekend shift! With preference towards those with certification in J-STD or IPC-A-610 and experience working in assembly
- Shift A: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Shift B: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM
- Shift C: Friday - Sunday, 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and final products by meticulously following detailed work instructions, schematics, and drawings.
- Operate microscopes, precision measuring instruments, and basic electronic test equipment to verify that all work meets stringent quality standards.
- Read, interpret, and execute complex assembly process documents and work instructions.
- Handle components of various sizes—from microscopic parts requiring visual magnification to larger assemblies—with extreme care and precision.
- Utilize a variety of hand tools (e.g., tweezers, rulers, cutters) and pneumatic tools (e.g., torque drivers, screwdrivers) safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate and timely data entry for production tracking, quality records, and inventory within digital systems.
- Collaborate proactively with team members and leads to identify opportunities for process improvement, increase throughput, and support a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, accessing work instructions, and confirming tasks.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced, repetitive production environment.
- Proven ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Willingness and aptitude to learn and apply industry standards such as J-STD-001 (soldering) and/or IPC-A-610 (acceptability of electronic assemblies).
- Strong understanding of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety procedures.
- Outstanding work ethic with a demonstrated reputation for punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- A genuine desire to grow, learn new skills, and advance within the role.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in electrical assembly, micro-electronics, or a similar precision manufacturing role.
- Familiarity with using electronic test equipment (e.g., multimeters, continuity testers).
- Existing knowledge of J-STD-001 or IPC-A-610 standards.
