Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg and PCU night shift role requiring independent practice and charge nurse responsibilities.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a critical access hospital with a 25-bed capacity
- Assignment includes both Med/Surg and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) responsibilities
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with every other weekend rotation
- Floating to other units may be required based on hospital needs
- Patient population includes telemetry and med/surg cases
- Agency nurses are required to attend quarterly department education sessions
- Must be comfortable working in a critical access hospital environment
- Every other weekend shift rotation is mandatory

- Active VT or compact state RN license required
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience is required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required
- Ability to work independently and perform charge nurse duties
- Experience in Med/Surg, PCU, and telemetry nursing settings
