Position Summary:
The CBHI Clinical Supervisor at River Valley Counseling Center (RVCC) is responsible for overseeing clinical evaluations and treatment planning for children and families, supervising and training staff and interns, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining high-quality care. This role involves direct client care, coordination with community services, administrative oversight, and leadership in clinical and operational functions to support RVCC’s mission and maintain effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
To oversee clinical evaluations and treatment of children and their families.
To document activities according to established RVCC and CBHI regulatory standards.
To summarize findings and treatment plan in accordance with RVCC procedures for treatment/services and present same to multidisciplinary case disposition team.
To participate in multidisciplinary team meetings (UR).
To develop and maintain working knowledge of community services and to ensure that assigned staff is updated on a regular basis.
To oversee any necessary outreach, advocacy, or case consultation appropriate to meet the needs of the clients and their families.
To prepare for and participate and/or conduct regular supervision
To oversee the supervision and training of student interns.
To analyze services provided to improve the quality of client care and maximize utilization of Clinic staff to maintain safe and effective client care
To plan and implement educational programs for staff in service, continuing education, skills and competency development and specific mandatory educational requirements; to ensure that staff attends in services or meetings, as assigned or directed, and that mandatory education is accomplished within designated time frames.
To ensure that staff evaluations are completed in a timely manner.
To use time constructively and organize assigned work for maximum productivity.
Qualifications:
Required:
Education level - Master’s Degree with a concentration in human services, counseling, clinical psychology or social work
Years of Experience - 3 years experience as a licensed therapist with at least 1 year of supervisory experience
Skills/Abilities - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills; crisis intervention skills; organizational skills; attention to detail; computer skills; good customer relations skills; knowledge of legal and ethical issues pertaining to the profession
Licensing - LMHC, LICSW, Lic. Psychologist
Preferred:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus!
Salary Range:
$70,000 - $80,000 annually
Salary ranges are based on years of experience, level of education, specialty and licensure/certifications. Additional Compensation for advanced education for qualifying positions.
