Title: Electromechanical Assembler

Type of Placement: Temp position- with potential to be hired perm

Shift: Hours on the first day will be 9:30am-4:30pm. Hours from then on Mon-Fri 8:30AM-4:30PM, Friday’s early release at 2:00pm

Pay: $19.00-$28.00 hourly

Summary:

• The purpose of this job is to perform sub-assembly and basic final assembly work for mechanical production.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Build large orders of medical treadmills or dental machines.
• Assemble products using hand and power tools to position, align and fasten parts and units into assemblies and subassemblies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers, and other similar tools; Good dexterity
• Basic mechanical knowledge or aptitude is preferred
• Able to lift and move 30 - 40 pounds safely throughout the day
• Products are large, must be able to physical aspects of job

Environmental Conditions:

• Fast-paced environment that requires ability to pay close attention to details. Working in temperature-controlled areas.

Physical Capabilities:

• Must be able to: stand for 8 hours and move from role to role or sedentary standing; lift light to moderate amounts of weight; perform repetitive upper extremity motions and repetitive forceful grip/pinch movement requiring both hands.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
