Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in OT or related field
  • Current state licensure as an OT
  • Previous experience working in school settings, preferred

  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and practices in a school environment
  • Commitment to collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with special education teams to integrate therapeutic goals into IEPs
  • Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with established plans
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding therapy outcomes and recommendations
