Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Allston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and calls, while efficiently managing administrative tasks to support the organization. This position requires strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors warmly and ensure they are directed to the appropriate person or department.
• Answer and manage a high volume of inbound phone calls with professionalism and accuracy.
• Oversee daily administrative tasks, including maintaining office supplies and organizing records.
• Perform data entry tasks to ensure information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and other office activities.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area to create a positive first impression.
• Assist with handling mail, packages, and other deliveries.
• Support the administrative team with special projects and tasks as needed.• Proven experience in administrative assistance or receptionist roles.
• Strong ability to manage inbound calls and provide excellent customer service.
• Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
• Familiarity with standard office equipment and administrative practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
