Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services within a K-12 educational setting located in Attleboro, MA. The role is a contract position for the complete school year (CSY), focused on supporting students through individualized speech and language interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in pediatric populations within the school setting
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with educational and licensure regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts State licensure and State Educational Certification for speech-language pathology
- Bachelors degree in speech-language pathology or related field
- Prior experience working in schools is preferred but not required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or equivalent training is beneficial
- Experience working with children in school settings, including clinical fellowship year (CFY), pediatric populations, or as an SLPA, is advantageous
