Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Surgical Technologist to support our team. The Surg Tech will prepare operating rooms, arrange instruments, and assist surgeons during procedures to ensure safety, efficiency, and optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms and ensure all instruments, equipment, and supplies are sterile and ready.
Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
Anticipate surgical team needs and respond quickly during procedures.
Handle specimens properly and ensure accurate labeling.
Maintain equipment and ensure proper cleaning, sterilization, and storage after use.
Adhere to infection control, safety, and hospital protocols.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
BLS certification, COVID vaccine, TB test
Minimum 1 year of surgical technologist experience
