Pay Rate: $20.00 – $24.20 per hourJob SummaryThe Electro/Mechanical Assembler is responsible for building, testing, and inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies in accordance with specifications and quality standards. This role supports both sub-assembly and system-level assembly and testing within a regulated manufacturing environment.The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow written procedures and drawings, and hands-on experience using mechanical and electrical tools and test equipment.Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and system-level hardware per specifications
- Perform in-process sub-assembly testing as required
- Complete and maintain Device History Records (DHR)
- Perform assembly and testing for reconditioned hardware when required
- Perform packaging functions within Instruments Manufacturing as needed
- Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards including QSR, ISO, EH&S
- Use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, crimpers, and soldering irons
- Follow written assembly procedures, test procedures, and mechanical drawings
- Use mechanical inspection tools such as calipers and indicators
- Use electrical test equipment including multimeters
- Support daily manufacturing operations, service support forecasts, and regulatory compliance
- Provide training support as needed
- Identify workplace risks and participate in safety improvements
- Support internal audits of manufacturing processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience assembling and testing electro-mechanical components
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, procedures, and drawings
- Proficiency with mechanical hand tools and basic electrical test equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work effectively in a regulated manufacturing environment
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience and/or training required
