Position Overview:This opportunity offers a rewarding role providing speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting located in South Yarmouth, MA. The position is designed to support students across all grade levels during the current school year on a contractual basis. Candidates will focus on delivering tailored services to meet the diverse communication needs of children in a pediatric educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Document assessments, maintain accurate records, and comply with school and state policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Provide supportive intervention services in a nurturing educational setting.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in Massachusetts is required.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school-based settings.
• Familiarity with School Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) protocols preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.
• Knowledge of SLP practices for diverse K-12 populations including developmentally appropriate methodologies.

Position Details:

• Contract duration through June 2026.
• Start date: ASAP.
• Work schedule: 30-35 hours per week, 5 days weekly.
• Location: South Yarmouth, MA.
