A healthcare professional with experience in school nursing is needed for a contract position supporting a middle school student with Type 1 Diabetes. This role is based in Exeter, NH, supporting a 1:1 male student during the school year. The assignment offers the opportunity to provide specialized care within an educational setting, working closely with school staff and family.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care for a middle school student with Type 1 Diabetes, including blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration
- Supervise or work under the guidance of an RN (for LPN candidates)
- Ensure the health and safety of the student during school hours and bus transportation
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers
- Attend to the students medical needs during transportation to and from school
Qualifications:
- Valid RN or LPN license in New Hampshire
- LPN candidates must have documented training and experience with Type 1 Diabetes care
- Ability to provide 1:1 care to a student with complex medical needs
- Availability for full-time hours Monday through Friday, covering 7:30 AM 2:20 PM plus bus riding time (approximately 6:30 AM 2:30 PM, with possible early release adjustments)
- Reliable transportation to fulfill bus riding responsibilities

Contract Duration:
- Current School Year (CSY), starting ASAP through June 15, 2026
