Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Critical Care (CVCC) position requiring trauma experience and advanced arterial line skills.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Cardiovascular Critical Care (CVCC) unit in a hospital setting
- Rotating day and night shifts with options for 36 or 48 hours per week
- 16-week contract assignments
- Patient population includes critically ill, post-surgical, and trauma patients
- No time off approved on December 24th or 25th
- Unit expansion with multiple needs
- Responsibilities include care of complex post-surgical, trauma, and cardiovascular patients
- Must be able to manage lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical and neurocritical care patients
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary critical care team
- No approved time off for December 24th or 25th
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active NH or compact RN license required
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Arterial line experience required
- Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years required
- Critical care experience preferred
- Experience with advanced hemodynamic, ICP monitoring, ventilated patients, pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications preferred
- Experience assisting with line insertion and maintenance, including PA lines, ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, EVDs, and waveform interpretation preferred
- Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
