- Pharmacy Hours M-F 8:00pm - 6:00pm
- No Week-ends
Responsibilities:
- Serves as a role model in the practice of pharmaceutical care for staff.
- Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians’ work flow; verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges and inspections.
- Maintains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of drugs designated as hazardous waste
- Accurately dispenses medications by packaging and labeling pharmaceuticals
- Provide patients with pertinent drug information
- Supervise and maintain records of all medications
- Act as a liaison between the store and healthcare professionals, patients and law enforcement
- Adheres to all Board of Pharmacy laws and regulations
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Active state RPH license
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree
- Must be in good standing with Board of Pharmacy
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
- Proficient in all aspects of pharmacy law, policies, and procedures
- Effective communication skills and strong sense of teamwork
- Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws, rules, and regulations surrounding pharmacy including facility inspection and licensing processes
- Community/retail experience is preferred
- Experience with process improvement
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
