Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support elementary students in an academic setting located in East Weymouth, MA. This contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with young learners in need of speech and language development support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students, addressing articulation, fluency, voice, language, and communication needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
Qualifications:
- Valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- SLPA candidates with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply
