Job Details:

• Work in ED Holding/CICU unit, specifically caring for inpatient/CICU level holds in Emergency Department
\n• 2 years of experience required with strong PCU background within the last year
\n• ED experience preferred but not required
\n• First-time travelers accepted only with EPIC experience and 2 years of experience
\n• Every other weekend (EOW) requirement
\n• Patient ratio of 1:4
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, EKG test on arrival
\n• Must have experience managing and titrating cardiac drips including Lasix, Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Integrillin, Labetalol, Dopamine, and Dobutamine
\n• Work with special equipment including BIPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, Alaris Pumps, and Phillips Monitoring System
\n• Care for patients with chest pain, syncope, heart failure, sepsis, overdose, GI bleed, COPD, and pneumonia
\n• Handle medical, surgical, trauma, oncology, and orthopedic overflow patients
\n• Manage post-catheterization patients with stents, ICD/pacer insertions, and cardioversions
\n• Valid New Hampshire state license required
\n• References required
\n• Drug screen must be obtained within 14 days of start date
\n• Only AHA and Red Cross certifications accepted

The facility features comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes advanced monitoring systems and equipment to support complex cardiac and medical patients in a stepdown environment.
