Job Title: IT Help Desk Technician
Pay Rate: $25–$27/hr
Location: Fitchburg, MA 01420
Duration: 60–90 day assignment (potential to extend)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior IT Help Desk Technician to join our team in Fitchburg, MA for a 60–90 day assignment (with possible extension). In this role, you’ll provide advanced technical support, troubleshoot complex IT issues, and ensure smooth system operations across our facility. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your IT expertise in a regulated manufacturing environment and make an immediate impact.

What You’ll Do

Serve as the escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support issues
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and networks
Support ERP and specialized systems used in medical device manufacturing
Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and knowledge base articles
Assist with onboarding/offboarding including account setup and hardware configuration
Ensure compliance with IT policies, FDA, HIPAA, and ISO 13485 requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Quality, Engineering, and Operations
Participate in audits and system validations

What We’re Looking For

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of IT support experience (regulated manufacturing experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Office 365, and networking fundamentals
Experience with ticketing systems (Track-It preferred)
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
Must pass background check, education verification, and 9-panel drug test (THC excluded)

Preferred:

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator
Experience with ERP systems (IQMS, SAP, Oracle)
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
