Job Description

Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Preparation Specialist

Our Client has an opening for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support its high reliability SMT production line. This individual would be responsible for the following SMT preparation support tasks:

Bake-out parts and PWBs
Preform parts requiring lead forming using pre-forming machine
Pre-tin and clean SMT components
Verify SMT CAD files match parts dimension requirements

The position offers opportunities to grow the individual’s skills and capabilities. The successful candidate must be a US Citizen and have a minimum of 3 years of related experience working in an electronics production environment, handling high value components (including ESD Class 0) and populated circuit card assemblies. Individuals with more capabilities in the area (e.g., selective soldering, screen printing, semi-automatic SMT assembly) are also encouraged to apply.
