Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in an early childhood school setting, focusing on bilingual evaluations and supporting PreK students. This short-term contract offers the opportunity to work with a focused caseload in a flexible, supportive environment.

Position Details:

Role: Bilingual (Portuguese) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Contract duration: Current School Year (CSY), from ASAP to 6/5/2026
Hours per week: 23 hours
Assignment: Single school, one evaluation required
Service model: Itinerant with paid travel as needed

Responsibilities:

Conduct a bilingual speech-language evaluation for a PreK student
Collaborate with the district team to ensure compliance with individualized education program (IEP) requirements
Utilize indirect hours for administrative tasks and participate in paid team meetings where applicable
Maintain professional documentation and communication within the district's IEP system
Participate in virtual interviews and onboarding via flexible Zoom sessions as part of the hiring process

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid SLP certification/licensure with bilingual proficiency in Portuguese
Experience working with early childhood populations in educational settings
Strong understanding of PreK speech and language developmental milestones
Ability to conduct evaluations in both English and Portuguese
Comfortable with remote communication platforms and flexible scheduling
Familiarity with caseload or workload models preferred
