RESPONSIBILITIES
The Certified Personal Trainer will be responsible for providing one-on-one and couples personalized fitness instruction in person to clients at their home, apartment gym or outside while encouraging them to reach their fitness goals. Responsibilities are as follows:

QUALIFICATIONS

Resource Development

 Requirements A program specialist in a school-age program shall be at least 20 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent, including but not limited to a General Equivalency Diploma (GED), a High School Equivalency Test (HiSet), or a Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC), and have at least one of the following: (1) Written documentation from or on file with the department that she or he was qualified and employed as a site director in a school-age program on or before the effective date of these rules in 2022; (2) A minimum of an associate’s degree in child development, education, recreation, or other field of study focused on children, awarded by an accredited college or university; (3) Certification of successful completion of training as a recreation director plus 1000 hours of experience working with children in a licensed child care program, recreation program, or a public or private elementary school; (4) A total of 12 credits in child development, education, recreation, or other field of study focused on children, from an accredited college plus 1000 hours of experience working with children; (5) Current certification as an educator by the Department of Education; or (6) Experience working with children totaling 2000 hours and: a. Current certification as a para II educator by the Department of Education; or b. Both of the following: 1. Documentation of enrollment in a course for at least 3 credits in child development, education, recreation, or other fields of study focused on children, through an accredited college or university and a written plan on file for completion of at least 3 additional credits as specified; and

We are looking for a Superintendent with Multifamily and Healthcare experience to join our team. This position will oversee and manage all field activities of DEW employees and subcontractors to ensure contract requirements are met while adhering to the companys safety, budget, and schedule goals. This position will manage self-perform work along with the planning, coordination, and supervision of all DEW and subcontractor personnel on-site.

Job Responsibilities include:

<li> Participate in proposal presentations/interviews</li>

<li> Conduct an improvement analysis for the project, process, profits, and relationships</li>
<li> Plan, coordinate, and/or supervise activities of all personnel on-site (DEW employee as well as subs)</li>
<li> Plan work schedule (assist in the preparation of CPM Schedule and short duration schedule)</li>
<li> Determine workforce levels by preparing a monthly workforce projection update</li>
<li> Determine equipment requirements </li>
<li> Develop and update material handling plan</li>
<li> Review submittal list and delivery schedules</li>
<li> Communicate change orders to all affected parties</li>
<li> Monitor cleanliness of job site trailer, tool trailer, DEW vehicles, and overall construction site</li>

<li> Assist Project Managers with the buyout of materials quantities</li>
<li> Submit weekly/daily timecards, assuring accuracy and timely submission</li>
<li> Review, approve and cost code all material invoices</li>
<li> Maintain effective tool rental management</li>
<li> Review financial forecasting on a monthly basis with the project team</li>
<li> Thorough understanding of construction techniques</li>
<li> Understands properties of construction materials</li>
<li> Understands all aspects of project design and engineering</li>
<li> Understands principles of surveying </li>
<li> Understands state and federal rules and regulations as they apply to construction (asbestos abatement, recycling, etc.)</li>
<li> Understands construction law (contract documents, insurance requirements, etc.)</li>
<li> Understands labor law (hiring, firing, evaluations, sexual harassment, etc.)</li>
<li> Provide technical assistance to DEW team and subcontractor</li>
<li> Review and understand the scope of work, plans, and specs</li>
<li> Review and understand subcontractor and vendor scope of work</li>
<li> Review and understand shop drawings</li>
<li> Ensure construction complies with drawings &amp; specs</li>
<li> Be familiar with computer software</li>
<li> Conduct subcontractor field orientation for each subcontractor prior to the start of the subcontractors work</li>
</ul>
Safety:
<ul>
<li> Ensure compliance with the Companys Safety and Loss Control Program and EEO programs on all assigned projects. Be aware of all potential claims as a means of protecting the company and communicate these issues to the Director or Safety if such potential exists.</li>
<li> Prepare the site-specific safety plan with the Safety Director</li>
<li> Coach employees and subs on the importance of and how to work safely</li>
<li> Monitor and ensure weekly toolbox meetings with crew</li>
<li> Be responsible for job site safety procedures/plan</li>
<li> Document and ensure corrective safety measurements are implemented</li>
<li> Understands and enforces OSHA rules and regulations</li>
<li> Maintain AED/CPR/First Aid certification</li>
<li> Conduct weekly safety meetings and safety audits</li>
</ul>
Quality Control:
<ul>
<li> Establish and maintain an on-site quality construction control program Maintain compliance with State, Federal, and Local agencies</li>
<li> Participate in pre-installation meetings and preparation </li>
<li> Ensure all documentation of pre-installation, during installation, and post-installation</li>
<li> Ensure material conformance with approved submittals, plans, and specifications</li>
<li> Zero Punch list should be your objective.</li>
</ul>
Required Experience:
<ul>
<li>At least 5 years of Construction Management Superintendent experience, including proficiency in reading commercial construction plans and specifications.</li>
<li>Experience building ground-up Healthcare, Commercial, Education, Industrial and Retail projects. Experience with wood-framed construction is an advantage.</li>
<li>Good written and communication skills. Competent at negotiation and conflict resolution</li>
<li>Organizational /management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.</li>
<li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contract drawings and specifications</li>
<li>Keen attention to detail and ability to meet all assigned deadlines.</li>
<li>Familiarity with construction/ project management software (experience with CMiC, P6 Scheduling a plus).</li>
<li>Good to excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.</li>
<li>Completed projects valued at $10 million or more.</li>
<li>Bachelors degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.</li>
<li>CPR/First Aid Certified</li>
<li>10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certification; 30-Hour OSHA preferred</li>
