Tennis Camp Counselors provide personalized instruction and guidance to our campers, who will learn the fundamental techniques of tennis, including proper grip, footwork, stroke production, and game strategy. Campers enjoy a variety of drills, games, and tournaments, as well as daily swimming and more as they develop their skills and build self-confidence. The energy of the camp is lively, playful and warm, as both campers and staff develop lifelong friendships. Primary responsibilities include, and are not limited to:

Education and Experience:

The Job: 
<ul>
<li>Bring Soccer Island alive with your enthusiasm and creativity.</li>
<li>Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including field set-up and take-down.</li>
<li>Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling.</li>
<li>Utilize expert-created Soccer Shots curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session.</li>
<li>Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.</li>
<li>Follow all on-site safety and attendance protocols.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers.</li>
<li>Be ready to coach 5-6 sessions a day (28-32 sessions a week)</li>
<li>Be ready to cover Boston and SE Mass.</li>
<li>To be ready to do administrative work other 8-10 hours per week. Such as:

<li>to distribute yards sign, paper flyers to different schools, playgrounds.</li>
<li>To do sales visits in order to land new schools for a partnership with Soccer Shots.</li>
<li>to do sales table before a new season in schools.</li>

<li>Qualifications:</li>
<li>No prior sports/coaching experience required.</li>
<li>Genuine passion for children and sports.</li>
<li>Energetic, engaging, and responsible.</li>
<li>Safety conscious.</li>
<li>Ability to adapt to the needs of kids ages 2-8.</li>
<li>Access to reliable transportation.</li>
<li>Ability to stand, jog, and model childrens soccer skills.</li>
<li>Coaches must have or obtain state-required clearances.</li>
