One of our programs, Participant Directed and Managed Services (PDMS for short!) is unique in its design as the family and PathWays both serve in supervisory capacities. Personal Mentors are a part of our mission by working one-on-one with an individual to integrate into their community and meet personal goals. Mentors work very closely with the individual's family and the family oversees the daily activities and schedule.
Being a Mentor can make a difference in an individual's life. Here are some areas that families need/want: library time, volunteering, personal care, daily living skills, horseback riding, arts, grocery shopping, medication administration, fitness, employment support, social events, and behavioral support. What you do varies by individual and family. Most of our Mentor positions are part-time with varying schedules as determined by the family. 
We are looking for people with positive attitudes, friendly demeanors, resourcefulness, and patience, and who enjoy being part of the community. Some individuals require assistance with personal hygienic care, some require medicine administration -- experience with either is helpful though you will be trained as well. We also serve individuals who require behavioral support and/or are on the Autism Spectrum. Opportunities are available throughout Sullivan and lower Grafton counties.
You must have a high school diploma or GED as well as excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and interpersonal. Basic math and computer skills (MS Office) are required. SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Residential Coordinator, the Assistant Residential Coordinator provides support to participants with the goal of maximizing their capacity for personal growth and community membership consistent with each participant's support plan, as well as ensuring effective staffing, scheduling, and operation of the program. In the absence of the Residential Coordinator, the Assistant Res. Coordinator supervises the program staff and provides leadership for all program staff. 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision, Training and Administrative Responsibilities 
<ul>
<li>Participate in regular supervision with the Residential Coordinator. </li>
<li>Provide supervision as specified in the Safety Plan and in Individual Safety Assessments. </li>
<li>Provide supervision and direction to other staff and assume charge responsibilities in the absence of the Residential Coordinator. </li>
<li>Attend required trainings and other meetings as requested. </li>
<li>Provide or facilitate access to transportation for participants as needed (appointments, work, activities, religious services etc.). </li>
<li>Oversee the program household, grocery and staff activities accounts. </li>
<li>Assist Residential Coordinator in developing and implementing the staff schedule. </li>

Licensure, Certification, or Registration

Assistant Residential Coordinator

Job Description
Key Program seeks a Residential Program Manager (Program Supervisor) for their DCF Emergency Residence program serving up to nine (9) adolescent boys. Manage the day-to-day operations of the program and maintain a structured, therapeutic, and trauma sensitive environment where youths can thrive. Total Compensation:
Salary: Generous starting salary range: $71,680 with a Bachelor degree and $73,680 with a Master degree * Salary negotiable with more than two years of higher-level program management experience. 
$10,000 hiring bonus is provided in 3 installments. $2,500 at 3rd and 6th month of successful employment and $5,000 at 9th month of successful employment. 
  
*Additional compensation is provided for: bilingual skills, on-call rotation,, working an extra shift, supervision of interns, and becoming certified to facilitate Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training. Opportunities exist for future annual merit-based salary increases.

Qualifications:  
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in human services related field is required, a Master’s degree is preferred.</li>
<li>A minimum of one year of direct care with adolescents, latency, or young adult population in a residential setting is required.</li>
<li>One year of administrative/supervisory experience is required.</li>
<li>A valid driver’s license and insured vehicle for employment. </li>
</ul>
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Manage all areas of the residential program’s administration, youth and family services, and staff professional development and training.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with external service providers and state partners to ensure an integrated approach to care.</li>
<li>Promote trauma-informed and person-centered philosophies within the program to promote emotional, behavioral and psychological well-being of children/youth.</li>
<li>Ensure youths receive quality services that comply with DEEC regulations and CARF accreditation standards.  </li>
<li>Participate in regional on-call rotation with administrative/supervisory/clinical team. </li>
</ul>
