Work Environment

Job Purpose: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Co-op Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Co-op Manufacturing Engineer will assist with the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Project Support: Lead effort to review and update tolerancing on released assembly drawings using SolidWorks. Interacting w/ Quality, Design and Production teams to ensure changes are fully vetted and compliant to customer requirements.</li>
<li>Process Improvement: Provide support to manufacturing technicians in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance production efficiency and product quality.</li>
<li>Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and support decision-making processes using Minitab and/or MS Excel.</li>
<li>Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).</li>
<li>Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.</li>
<li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as R&amp;D, Quality, and Production, to support overall manufacturing goals.</li>
<li>Safety Compliance: Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.</li>

Education, Work Experience, Skills and Competencies Requirements:
Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
