Job Description
The Maintenance &amp; Facilities Manager at North Coast will be responsible for managing and leading our team of maintenance personnel to ensure production equipment &amp; facilities are efficiently operating within the seafood manufacturing plant. 
The Maintenance &amp; Facilities Manager shall ensure successful preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance of equipment to achieve maintenance objectives and assign tasks to the maintenance team personnel and any required outside vendors. They will be expected to train, motivate, monitor and control the maintenance team members, while coordinating with other departmental personnel to achieve intended results. They must be proficient in the use of hand and power tools and the development of other factory mechanics in the performance of their respective duties. 
This position reports to Operations Leadership Team. 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Document maintenance processes and procedures and keep it up-to-date</li>
<li>Create and maintain a database of machinery and equipment</li>
<li>Recruit suitable maintenance mechanics, leads, and other support personnel on need basis</li>
<li>Develop a preventive maintenance schedule for all the equipment and decide on the best maintenance frequency</li>
<li>Ensure a safe work environment</li>
<li>Allocating maintenance tasks to team members</li>
<li>Achieve the planned maintenance objectives</li>
<li>Devise plans to reduce breakdown of equipment and utilities</li>
<li>Develop and implement preventive maintenance checklists and monitor the same</li>
<li>Closely monitor maintenance activities and performance of the maintenance team</li>
<li>Inspect the maintenance equipment periodically, analyze its condition and predict failure of parts</li>
<li>Coordinating with other departmental personnel in achieving planned maintenance activities</li>
<li>When required, help maintenance team in diagnosing and solving equipment problems</li>
<li>Oversee the repair of equipment and utilities</li>
<li>Provide proper tools and equipment to carry out maintenance of equipment and utility</li>
<li>Provide inputs to the Purchase manager on the best brand of equipment and utilities in the event of new purchase</li>
<li>Plan and procure critical spares of equipment as per experience or as directed by the Original equipment manufacturer</li>
<li>Document successfully solved repairs of critical equipment to help resolve similar equipment problems in future</li>
<li>Track the age of machinery and utility and take suitable actions such as replacement or disposal with proper justification</li>
<li>Reporting the status of preventive and breakdown Maintenance to the Top Management</li>

Requirements
<ul>
<li>5+ years with increasingly responsible management positions in industrial maintenance, preferably in a supervisory or production management capacity</li>
<li>Diverse background in mechanical, electrical and plumbing experienceDiverse background in mechanical, electrical and plumbing experience </li>
<li>Food industry background preferred; Seafood industry experience is a plus</li>
<li>Proven leader in improving work processes and leading change in a complex, fast paced environment</li>

What You’ll Be Doing:

<li>Deliver building materials to lumber yards in a Curtain Side 48' Day Cab</li>
<li>Make 10–14 stops per day — build great relationships with repeat customers</li>
<li>Unload via Moffett, forklift, or by hand (no loading involved)</li>
<li>Drive well-maintained Ryder trucks (3–4 years old), no slip seating</li>
</ul>
Schedule:
<ul>
<li>Monday–Friday, 45–50 hours per week</li>
<li>Start between 4–6 AM (earlier during the busy season)</li>
<li>Home every night</li>

Responsibilities

<li>Perform floor care tasks, including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.</li>
<li>Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.</li>
