The Program Specialist role directs and manages overall daily operations of a site/program with the primary concern for a comprehensive, outcome-driven program and service delivery. -Compiles regular reports reflecting all activities, attendance, and participation. 
 
Resource Development 
-Participates in the grant application process providing ideas for funding programs and other services. 
-Assists with fundraising events and initiatives. 
-Develops and increases the visibility of the Club programs through daily schedule posting, event announcements, and dissemination of information through advertising, flyers, and social media. 
 
 
Relationships/Partnership Development/Public Relations 
-Maintains close, daily contact with Club staff (professional and volunteer), Club members, and supervisors to receive/provide information discuss issues, explain or interpret guidelines/instructions; instruct, advise/counsel. 
-Maintains professional contact with community members, community leaders and organizations, Club parents, and others to assist in resolving situations and in order to develop and maintain partnerships. -Develops and maintains public relations to increase the visibility of programs, services, and activities within the Club and the community. 
-Will work at different locations/programs as needed. Must be willing to travel. 
 Requirements A program specialist in a school-age program shall be at least 20 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent, including but not limited to a General Equivalency Diploma (GED), a High School Equivalency Test (HiSet), or a Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC), and have at least one of the following: (1) Written documentation from or on file with the department that she or he was qualified and employed as a site director in a school-age program on or before the effective date of these rules in 2022; (2) A minimum of an associate’s degree in child development, education, recreation, or other field of study focused on children, awarded by an accredited college or university; (3) Certification of successful completion of training as a recreation director plus 1000 hours of experience working with children in a licensed child care program, recreation program, or a public or private elementary school; (4) A total of 12 credits in child development, education, recreation, or other field of study focused on children, from an accredited college plus 1000 hours of experience working with children; (5) Current certification as an educator by the Department of Education; or (6) Experience working with children totaling 2000 hours and: a. Current certification as a para II educator by the Department of Education; or b. Both of the following: 1. Documentation of enrollment in a course for at least 3 credits in child development, education, recreation, or other fields of study focused on children, through an accredited college or university and a written plan on file for completion of at least 3 additional credits as specified; and 
2. Within 12 months of the date the individual begins working as a site director, documentation of successful completion of a total of at least 6 credits as specified in b.1. shall be on file for review by the department.

What will you need to succeed?

Description of Role
A Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Dephy is responsible for designing the mechanical components and assemblies that power lightweight, high-performance exoskeletons, with deep expertise in SolidWorks and complex electromechanical mechanisms and actuation systems. The candidate will analyze the current design and lead iterative design cycles to improve system efficiency, reduce weight through material selection and component optimization, enhance environmental protection, and increase manufacturability while meeting our established performance, safety, and compliance requirements. They transform ideas into elegant, functional models, bringing concepts to life from initial sketches or renderings, leading all stages of prototyping, including lab and user testing, through detailed design and a successful transfer to manufacturing. Required Qualifications

<li>Experience leading the design process to solve complex system design challenges and bringing designs to life, starting with a sketch or rendering, including:</li>

<li>Electromechanical actuator sizing and design experience </li>
<li>Precision machine design experience </li>
<li>Experience with SolidWorks Surfacing and the ability to create complex and organic surfaces, with a portfolio to showcase them</li>
<ul>
<li>There will be an in-person SolidWorks skill assessment as part of the interview process.</li>
</ul>
<li>Experience integrating sensors and electronics in mechanical assemblies</li>
<li>Experience designing components and systems with strength and mass constraints </li>
</ul>
<li>Experience working cross-functionally, bringing designs through the product development life cycle</li>
<li>Design for Manufacturing (DFM) experience </li>
<li>Experience using FEA as part of the design process </li>
<li>Experience with sourcing manufactured prototypes and parts </li>
