WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As our entry-level Teacher's Aide, you'll coordinate with the special education teacher to help students during educational, therapeutic, and direct care activities. Working with assigned students, you'll get them involved in the classroom activities and handle direct care functions as needed (eating, toileting, personal hygiene, etc.).
You'll learn state curriculum frameworks, help with updating and maintaining student records, and lead classroom activities during teacher planning days. SUMMARY:
Ensure and maintain the safety and conformity of products manufactured by clients through regular audits of the factory process. Establish and maintain positive relations with client companies. 
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Schedule and perform factory audits to ensure client manufacturing processes and procedures are in compliance with applicable product safety standards. Ensure timely completion and thoroughness of factory audits. </li>
<li>Inspect and/or test mechanical and electrical assemblies, component parts and records for conformity to established specifications, processes and industry standards.</li>
<li>Inform client management through verbal and written communication of compliance issues, while identifying, finding and observing potential corrective actions. Respond to questions from factory regarding any or all of the various standards.</li>
<li>Promote awareness of regulatory requirements throughout client organization</li>
<li>Review results of factory audits to improve readiness of factory for future audits. Maintain database and follow internal procedures ensuring completing and proper filing of inspection reports and files.</li>
<li>Work closely with client to reinforce adherence to comply with standard operating procedures.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS &amp; REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge, Skill, &amp; Abilities 
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of manufacturing process.</li>
<li>Ability to stay current and apprised of changing legislation, guidelines and customer practices.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate with client’s highly specialized engineers, scientists and marketing employees.</li>
<li>Must be highly organized and able to work independently.</li>
<li>Ability to travel. Valid driver’s license required.</li>
</ul>
Education 
<ul>
<li>Associate’s Degree in a Technical Discipline or equivalent education and/or experience.</li>
</ul>
Experience 
<ul>
<li>Two years related work experience.</li>
<li>Computer literacy required including Microsoft Office applications.</li>

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the direction of the Director of Cardiology and Respiratory Services provides services to inpatients and outpatients as directed by the medical staff at Central Vermont Medical Center.&nbsp; Functions within the scope of practice of the Respiratory Therapy Department and the hospital policies and procedures.&nbsp; Serves as a resource to nursing staff and physicians in the care of patients with respiratory problems.&nbsp; Participates in quality management activities hospital wide and with the Respiratory Therapy Department.&nbsp; Assumes leadership responsibilities at the request of the Director of Respiratory Therapy.
EDUCATION:
A graduate of an associate degree program from a respiratory therapist education program 1) supported or accredited by the commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care, or 2) Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health education Programs.&nbsp; Must have successfully passed the Registry exam as a Registered Respiratory Therapy Technician as defined by the National Board of Respiratory Care. .&nbsp; A Certified Respiratory Technician who has graduated from an accredited Respiratory program and is eligible to take the Registry exam may be hired into the Registered Respiratory Therapist range with the expectation that the employee will successfully pass the Registry exam within one-year of the hire date. If, after one year with CVMC, the therapist has not passed the Registry exam from the National Board of Respiratory Care then the employee will be re-classified as a Certified Respiratory Care Practitioner. Must hold a current Respiratory Care Practitioner license issued by the state of Vermont. A temporary license to practice may be issued by the State of Vermont.
EXPERIENCE:
9 to 12 months on the job performance to become proficient
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification-Required within 6 months from date of hire.

Level 1 Therapist: 0-1 years, BLS and NRP
Level 2 Therapist: 1+ years, plus ACLS

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:&nbsp;
High School graduate or equivalent 
Graduate of an approved CAHEA/JRCT school of Radiologic Technology, or a two year allied health equivalent
ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) certified and ARRT preferred. 
&nbsp; EXPERIENCE&nbsp;
2-3 years experience preferred&nbsp;
Experience in vascular, OB and small part preferred. 
HOURS/SHIFTS:
This position is Monday-Friday, noon-8:30pm with an on-call rotation of every 5th weekend (Saturday, Sundays, and holidays) from 8am-noon.
