The Young Adult Community Case Manager provides care planning, resource identification, benefit coordination, service monitoring, and community-based counseling support to assist clients with improving symptoms and behaviors that otherwise interfere with age-appropriate development, functioning and wellness goals. Major Functional Areas and Description of Duties

Our Medical Team is comprised of compassionate Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Treaters, and Administrative Assistants who work as interdisciplinary team members in our Adult and Children’s Departments. The Psychiatric APRN provides medical services to children, adolescents, adults, and/or elders. They will complete initial evaluations, follow up assessments, and offer suggestions to treat and prevent mental, emotional and behavioral health disorders. This is a full time, 40 hour per week position.
 
Major Functional Areas and Description of Duties
<ul>
<li>Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up assessments by evaluating patients via interview, observation of behaviors, gathering feedback from parent/guardian/natural support, engaging in outcome measures, reviewing medical history/related documents, selecting, administering, and interpreting psychological tests, and ordering and interpreting laboratory tests.</li>

Horizons for Homeless Children is a local non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of young homeless children in Massachusetts and helping their families succeed by providing high-quality early education, opportunities for play, and comprehensive family support services. Horizons operates the highest quality early learning program in the state and has over 30 years of experience supporting children and families in the state-run family shelter system. To support our mission, we also advocate on behalf of young children, train educators and human services providers, and provide research on the impact of early education on homeless children.
The Mobile Learning Experience for Young Children
Amal Alliance, Horizons for Homeless, and Neighborhood Villages together are piloting a Mobile Learning initiative to provide a coordinated systematic approach for supporting under-school-age children who have recently arrived in the US by providing a combination of coordinated services, social and emotional programming, and safe, developmentally appropriate space to children and families. The goal of the Mobile Learning Initiative is to meet families where they are, learn about their needs and connect them with the resources that can get their children acclimated to life in the US. By focusing on a specific catchment zone, the Mobile Learning program will consist of a staffed Horizons playspace and two mobile learning buses that will provide access to developmentally appropriate and trauma-informed social and emotional learning and play experiences to support their health and well-being by traveling to different shelter-based programs within a small geographic area.

Mobile Early Childhood Specialist

Job Description &nbsp; Job SummarySchneller has an opening for an experienced automotive technician whose capabilities should include various aspects of vehicle diagnostics and repair including:
<ul>
<li>Mechanical</li>
<li>Electrical</li>
<li>HVAC</li>
<li>Proficiency using diagnostic scan tools&nbsp;</li>
<li>Coding &amp; Programming</li>
<li>Fabrication experience</li>
<li>MIG welding</li>
<li>Vehicle alignments and chassis set up&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
As we operate within a specialty automotive niche, BMW and MINI experience is desired.&nbsp; Demonstration of transferable foreign automotive skills will also be considered. Responsibilities&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, all wheel drive, chassis, suspension, tires and brakes</li>
<li>Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunctions and recommend repairs</li>
<li>Interface with our technical &amp; software support service as necessary to accurately diagnose &amp; repair vehicles</li>
<li>Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, belts, brake, shock &amp; tire services, AC service and drivetrain fluids</li>
<li>Use your mechanical skill to tackle more complicated repairs.</li>
<li>Convey necessary vehicle repair information and recommendations to the service writer in a timely, clear and concise manner</li>
<li>Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business by diagnosing and fixing the car right the first time&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
 Qualifications
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED is required</li>
<li>An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is desired</li>
<li>Experience may be substituted for education &amp; training</li>
<li>Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is a plus</li>
<li>Strong customer service and communications skills are required</li>
<li>Personal tools sufficient to perform the job are essential</li>
</ul>
