Applications for non-tenure track (Full/Associate/Assistant Clinical Professor) faculty positions in nursing are now being requested. This is a 9-month faculty contract position in the Department of Nursing. The ideal candidate should be highly experienced and skilled in undergraduate nursing curriculum, course development, NCLEX preparation and testing, clinical and didactic instruction and student remediation in nursing. Experience in simulation development, implementation, and evaluation would be a plus. Candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in the areas and courses based upon expertise; advise students; contribute to curriculum and policy development, CCNE accreditation, MA BORN regulation self-studies, governance, and evaluation of all nursing program components. What You Will Do: The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is responsible for OB/GYN and infertility ultrasounds utilizing various transducers, ultrasound imaging equipment, and Doppler technology. This position takes direction from the physicians regarding specific patient care and must discern normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology related to diagnostic imaging. This position reports to the Clinical Manager and will function in an independent fashion.

<li>Perform ultrasound procedures during embryo transfers, Doppler procedures, and 3D ultrasounds.</li>
<li>Recognize cross-sectional anatomy as demonstrated and differentiate normal/abnormal structures, providing an assessment concerning pathology viewed while scanning.</li>
<li>Provide education to patients about procedure performed and communicate information as appropriate to patient during visualization of anatomy.</li>

Compensation 
The base compensation range for this role is: $125,000 - $160,000
Base salary offered is determined through an internal analysis utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills &amp; experience, job location, and internal equity.

Automation Engineering Manager Summary:
This role is responsible for managing the design and development of new manufacturing equipment, tools, and processes from concept through production, while driving continuous improvement in performance, safety, and cost. This role oversees experiments, prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of automated systems, collaborates with customers to align products with both requirements and company capabilities, and oversee project planning and execution. 
Automation Engineering Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Manage the development of new manufacturing equipment through engineering analysis, prototyping, risk assessment, and qualification testing from earliest concept through release to Manufacturing.</li>
<li>Evaluate tools, gauges, equipment, prototypes, and new manufacturing processes required for new product or customer product programs.</li>
<li>In cooperation with the Customer, assist in the development of Products to satisfy the requirements of the Customer, while leveraging the strengths and capabilities of the Welch Fluorocarbon, Inc. manufacturing processes and technical know-how.</li>
<li>Lead experiments to confirm/uncover or resolve design questions.</li>
<li>Oversee the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of automated manufacturing equipment.</li>
<li>Develop timelines, project plans, and cost estimates for development programs, providing timely communication on program progress.</li>
<li>Direct the work of more junior engineers and technicians in support of given programs as they are made available, mentoring &amp; leading by example.</li>
<li>Participate in design reviews to determine viability of new sales leads.</li>
<li>Approve the evaluation, documentation, and implementation design or process equipment or tooling changes to improve performance, manufacturability, safety, and/or cost of existing products.</li>
<li>Assist as needed in the troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis of existing manufacturing tooling and equipment topics.</li>
<li>Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.</li>

Automation Engineering Manager Qualification Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in an Engineering (or Engineering Technology) field.</li>
<li>Mechanical engineering is preferred, but other disciplines will also be considered.</li>
<li>At least 3-5 years of demonstrated product/process development experience in an applicable engineering area.</li>
<li>At least 1-3 years of demonstrated experience leading individuals or teams, including responsibility for employees personal and technical development, as well as disciplinary.</li>
<li>Experience with plastic part fabrication (common forming/sealing methods and equipment; thermoforming is particularly valuable). Experience with fluoropolymers or other exotic polymers is also desirable.</li>
<li>Experience in machine design, simple electrical design, and understanding of common manufacturing practices.</li>
<li>Strong statistical analysis and experimental design (DOE) experience is highly desirable.</li>
<li>Risk analysis using FMEA and well considered design reviews.</li>
<li>Documentation systems; Change orders, writing specs, quality systems, ISO requirements.</li>
<li>Simple computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. with the ability to learn new ones.</li>
<li>SolidWorks primarily and/or Inventor.</li>
<li>Knowledge of drawing standards (geometric tolerancing, etc.).</li>
<li>Air and motor vehicle travel (either in the US or internationally) when required (&lt;5% of time).</li>

Working Conditions: As part of the responsibilities of this position, Program Advocate, Family Emergency Services, you will have direct or incidental contact with clients served by SMOC in various programs funded or administered through the Executive Office of Health and Human Services. A successful background check is required. 

Hybrid Work Option: Hybrid work is permissible in some positions at SMOC depending on the key functions and responsibilities. The Program Advocate position is eligible to work from home 0-20% of the week in scheduling coordination with the department manager. 
 
 Saturday &amp; Sunday: 8:00AM - 4:00PM 16 Hours per week.
