Assigned to a specific, OEM, Tier 1 strategic account, the Business Unit Director will be responsible for the full ownership of the customer within the Cable Backplane Business Unit. We are seeking a driven and dynamic Water Solutions Specialist (Western Massachusetts Territory) to join our sales team. This role is focused on selling water coolers, sparkling water systems, and filtration solutions to offices, gyms, coworking spaces, and similar commercial environments in western Massachusetts.
This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building client relationships, understanding customer needs, and driving new business in a rapidly growing market.
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Sales &amp; Prospecting:
<ul>
<li>Proactively identify and target potential customers, including offices, gyms, coworking spaces, and other commercial environments.</li>
<li>Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and outreach campaigns.</li>
<li>Conduct cold calls, attend trade shows, and utilize digital tools to generate new business.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Customer Consultations:
<ul>
<li>Meet with prospective clients to assess their hydration needs and present product solutions, including water coolers and sparkling water systems.</li>
<li>Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations.</li>
<li>Cultivate long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Product Expertise:
<ul>
<li>Stay informed about product features, benefits, and technical specifications to effectively address customer questions and concerns.</li>
<li>Educate customers on the benefits of eco-friendly hydration solutions and cost savings compared to bottled water.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Sales Process Management:
<ul>
<li>Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal, ensuring a seamless customer experience.</li>
<li>Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and finalize agreements.</li>
<li>Track and manage sales activity in CRM tools, maintaining an accurate sales pipeline.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Market Awareness:
<ul>
<li>Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements or marketing strategies.</li>
<li>Provide feedback to the product team to improve and adapt offerings based on customer needs.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Reporting:
<ul>
<li>Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including lead generation, customer interactions, and order status.</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Proven sales experience, preferably in B2B sales or selling equipment to offices, gyms, or other commercial sectors.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse customer profiles.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.</li>
<li>Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.</li>
<li>Basic technical knowledge of water filtration systems (preferred but not required; training provided).</li>
<li>Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools to manage leads and track performance.</li>
<li>Must reside in the state of Massachusetts.</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license with record in good standing.</li>
</ul>
