Provides analysis of project requirements, schedules, plans, specifications, contracts, and other data that informs bid package content. Engages in information gathering processes required to develop internal or trade partner estimates for Client and trade partner RFIs; material sources and evaluations; and quantity take-offs. Solicits trade partners and vendors interest in and response to bid requests. Participates in the development and assembly of bid packages. Assists in critical evaluation of trade partners and vendor bids inclusive of time, cost, material, and manpower proposed for supply of trade services or products. Directs or engages in information gathering processes required to develop internal or trade partner estimates for Owner and trade partners.

Essential Job Functions

<li>Prepare detailed estimates by completing quantity take-offs, analysis, estimate input, and studies for all items incorporated in the assigned scope.</li>
<li>Prepare and assemble bids and proposals for various contract types. (Lump Sum, Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), Cost Plus, etc.)</li>
<li>Serve as liaison with subcontractors, design team (architects, engineers, consultants) and client.</li>
<li>Point of contact for managing assigned trade subcontractors and distributing information.</li>
<li>Develop a value analysis study by defining alternatives to the proposed scope that are more cost-efficient.</li>
<li>Prepare scope requisitions for assigned trades as required; coordinate with project team to eliminate scope gaps and overlaps.</li>
<li>Responsible for understanding all factors required to prepare bids, including contract documents, site logistics, schedule, coordination, means and methods.</li>
<li>Prepare comparison analysis to previous estimate for assigned scope.</li>
