Production / Installation Manager - Join Our Sign Making Team!

Are you an experienced sign person who is qualified to lead a creative and skilled team? Paquette Signs is seeking a driven, hands-on person to oversee our sign production and installation departments. If you have industry experience, a passion for craftsmanship, an eye for detail, and a talent for optimizing workflow, we want to hear from you. All inquiries will be kept confidential!

As our production / installation manager, you will be the driving force behind our throughput process. You will work with our director of operations to manage projects through production and installation, ensuring every sign is delivered or installed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on role requiring working in the shop as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, train and mentor a team of production and installation staff.
• Create and maintain efficient production and installation schedules to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate material sourcing, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
• Oversee all aspects of production and installation, including vinyl application, CNC routing, fabrication and painting.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures and safety protocols.
• Optimize workflow and drive efficiency.
• Communicate with the director of operations, sales and project manager to ensure seamless project flow.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years sign industry experience.
• Proven experience and leadership in a sign production environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of sign production equipment and processes (vinyl graphics, substrate cutting, CNC routing, painting, etc.).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A "roll up your sleeves" attitude and the ability to thrive under pressure.
• Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator or sign making software.
• Reliable, positive attitude, and a team-player mindset.
